Kramatorsk Direction – Naked Assaults.

•

Russian assault tactics on the Kramatorsk axis have shifted to what can only be described as blind infantry advances, according to a company commander from the 30th Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozky. The commander, call sign “Tigr,” told Armytv during a live stream that Russian forces no longer provide their soldiers with maps or coordinated attack plans. Instead, individual soldiers are sent forward with minimal instructions.

“They just send one person forward without knowing the terrain, without knowing where the enemy is,” Tigr said. “Just go straight, and you will find something there, you hide, you get in touch, and we will tell you what to do next.”

According to Tigr, Russian soldiers who survive the initial advance and reach some form of cover are then left to fend for themselves. When they request supplies, they are told to find their own water and food. This lack of support, he noted, leads to very high surrender rates among Russian personnel, sometimes without any fighting at all. Tigr also described visible differences in Russian uniforms and equipment across the battlefield. Some soldiers wear hats, others wear greatcoats. Some carry backpacks, others carry nothing.

One captured Russian soldier told Ukrainian forces that he was forced to purchase his own uniform using his first salary payment. Of the 400,000 rubles (approximately 4,000 USD) he received, 60,000 rubles (approximately 600 USD) was deducted for gear. No standard-issue equipment was provided to him by the Russian military command. The 30th Brigade is led by Colonel Yevgeny Kochervey, according to ArmyInform.
