Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the Armed Forces recently achieved a noticeable advantage over Russian troops in FPV drone use, reaching an estimated 1.8:1 ratio during one day in July.
The statement followed his visit to Ukrainian combat units operating in the Oleksandrivsk direction, where he worked alongside Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov. Syrskyi inspected Air Assault Forces and nearby formations, reviewed their combat readiness and received updates from commanders on the current battlefield situation, supply problems and operational needs.
According to Syrskyi, Ukrainian drones are playing a larger role not only along the immediate frontline, but also against targets deeper behind Russian positions. He said the unmanned component is being expanded step by step, with Russian forces increasingly feeling the impact in rear areas and at the contact line.
Just within these 24 hours, Ukraine has hit two refineries in Russia. In total, these two refineries refine 360,000 barrels per day. The economic aspect here is alarming, even as you can imagine.
Special attention was reportedly given to logistics, rotations and the delivery of weapons, equipment and strike drones. Syrskyi stressed that units cannot remain effective without immediate support and that troop rotations must not be delayed for the sake of holding lines on a map.
He added that technology, better planning and experienced personnel should help Ukraine gain an edge, while preserving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers remains the main priority.
